Introduction

Welcome to The Open University's RoboDoodle 2006-2007!

Fancy a doodle? All you have to do is sketch a really useful robot. The robot might help out around the home, at school or anywhere else where a new type of robot could be really useful.

Using our special sketching tool, you can doodle a drawing of a robot in your web browser and then submit it to our gallery at the click of your mouse. There's also a space for you to tell us a bit about what your robot does, and how it does it.

Take a look through the gallery at the great robot designs already entered. If you would like to add a robot of your own design click on the Start a New Picture link and get creative!

Note that RoboDoodle is moderated and your drawing must be approved before it appears in the gallery.

If you want to know a bit more about robots, we've got a few neat links on our Robots website.

Note: you must have the Macromedia Flash Plugin version 6 or greater to draw your robot.
